I want a light weight set of limbs for my recurve. The bow is currently 64" My riser is 23" measured straight across, not following the curve. The bow is currently too short for me as it was intended for field course shooting. Can I put 68 / 28lbs on this riser? The riser is ILF If I can, what string would I need to purchase?? Thanks a lot. I am only a new starter and not too sure of these measurements. Kind regards, Lindsay

68" limbs on a 23" will make a bow with a total length of 66". So you will need a string advertised at 66" They will pull slightly less poundage than advertised on a 23" riser though, about 2# less.
