7 November PSE shipped to us most of the 2012 line.  The shipment included the New Rally (only 50# and 60# and only right hand), more Stingers this time 60# field ready kits (however the left handed bows shipped are still 2011), The Freak, Vendetta and Brute X

PSE Stinger 2012

The PSE Stinger has been the largest selling bow for a number of years now, however during the past years the stinger has seen numerous changes.  I look at the 2012 model and with different specifications to the 2011 model like been 3" longer, my first reaction is why name this bow Stinger?

The 2012 Model has a full 10 turn of the limb bolts adjustment or about 30#.  The draw length is adjustable from 25.5" to 30.5".  The 2012 model has a new riser which looks like an expensive riser.  The riser feels nice.  In 2011 you adjusted draw length by switching modules and moving the models.  While this was a relatively simple system and an improvement on the 2010 module.  The 2012 is a marked improvement.  the model is red and only has one locking screw.  The other end of the module has a pin which fits in a letter which represents the draw length.  Very easy access to the module and now bow press is required.  Many bows need a bow press to change modules due to the screws been located under the limb.  PSE has obviously heard the complaints because this is the easiest module adjustment I have seen.

In 2011 the PSE engineers told me the the Stinger is a world class bow and could be used to win any competiton, well for 2012 the Stinger has hit a new mark in standards and while there is nothing wrong with the older model Stingers, The 2012 model I think is the biggest improvement in a bow I have seen in 20 years.

PSE 2012 - PSE released the 2012 range last week.  Some major things comming out for 2012 for PSE which are now in stock are Camo sights - these sights now match your PSE camo, very cool and cheap.  The new PSE Sniper arrows are value at around $80dz made.  It should be noted that these carbon arrows are not made in the same format as normal Carbon Force arrows.  Also new for 2012 is a Neoprene grip which can be fitted to all PSE narrow grip bows.
